Catboxes is a free app built by Nick Hart, provided at no cost and intended for use as is. This policy explains what the app collects, and what it does not.

What is collected

Anonymous usage analytics, to help improve the game:

Screen views. Game configuration โ€” board size, number of players, opponent settings, Cat Scratch settings. Game outcomes โ€” duration, moves, hazards triggered, treats collected. Basic device information โ€” model, OS version, app version. Locale region, such as "US" or "GB".

What is not collected

No names, email addresses, account information, or advertising identifiers. Nothing that could identify you personally.

Analytics are not linked to your identity and are not used to track you across other apps or websites. There are no ads and no advertising SDKs in the app.

Analytics are aggregated by a third-party service, Tinybird. No personal information is included in those requests.

Stored on your device

Game preferences โ€” player names, board size, appearance โ€” are stored locally using standard system storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to me or to any third party.
